the-problem

Hiring brand and web separately costs more than the invoice

  1. 01

    The handoff eats the idea

The agency designs a brand, the developer builds what's easy. Half the details die in between, and nobody owns the gap.

  2. 02

    You become the project manager

Two vendors, two timelines, two sets of opinions. You end up translating between them instead of running your company.

  3. 03

    Timelines stretch into months

Brand takes a quarter, the website another one. By launch, the market and the brief have both moved.

how-it-works

Fixed scope. Fixed price.

No hourly billing, no surprise invoices, no endless rounds. Here's how every sprint works.

  • 01

You know the price before we start

One number, agreed up front. It doesn't move unless the scope does, and only if you say so.

  • 02

    One person, start to finish

I do the strategy, the design and the build. No account managers and no handoff to juniors.

  • 03

    A fixed calendar

Every sprint has a start date and a delivery date. The weekly plan below is the actual plan.

  • 04

    Feedback at set checkpoints

You review at defined moments, so decisions happen fast and rounds don't pile up.

  • 05

    You own everything

Source files, guidelines, the Webflow or code project. All yours when we're done.

Daniel Ortega

about

The person you brief is the person who ships

I'm Daniel Ortega. I've spent eight years designing brands, first in-house at Skandia, then leading design and development at Effiqs for B2B tech clients in the US and Europe. I learned to code because I kept seeing good brands lose their edge in the handoff to developers. In a sprint you talk to me, you get feedback from me, and the person who draws your logo is the one who ships your site.

Questions

How can a brand really be done in two weeks?

Because the scope is fixed and the decisions happen at set checkpoints. Most brand projects drag because of meetings and open-ended rounds, not because the design takes months. You review a direction at the end of week 1 and we refine from there.

What do you need from me before we start?

A short questionnaire, access to anything that already exists (old logo, site, decks), and one decision-maker who can make calls within a day or two. That last one matters most.

How many revision rounds are included?

Each sprint has fixed review points, usually two per week. Within those, feedback is unlimited. What I don't do is reopen an approved direction later in the sprint.

Do you work in Webflow or custom code?

Both. Webflow is usually the right call for marketing teams that want to edit the site themselves. For something more custom, I build with code and deploy on Vercel or Cloudflare.

Do you write the website copy?

The sprint covers structure and messaging hierarchy. If you have copy, I'll shape it into the layout. If you need full copywriting, tell me on the call and we'll scope it in.

What if I need more pages than the sprint includes?

We add them to the scope and price before we start, so there are no surprises. Larger sites can also run as a second sprint.

How does payment work?

50% to book your sprint dates, 50% on delivery. Invoices in USD.

Do I own everything at the end?

Yes. Source files, font licensing notes, guidelines and the website project are all yours.

Can you work with my in-house team or agency?

Yes. I often plug into an existing marketing team. I just need to know who decides, so the sprint doesn't stall.

What time zone do you work in?

I'm based in Bogotá (GMT-5), which overlaps well with the US and has a solid morning window with Europe. I work in English, Spanish and German.

What happens after launch?

You get a handover so your team can update the site. The Full Sprint includes 30 days of support. After that, I'm available for ongoing work if you want it.

How soon can we start?

Sprints book in order. Email me and I'll tell you the next open start date.
